Organetics® by Martin Tidèn
Having been in training for two years in Organetics®, I would like to share with you how it has helped me in my daily business of running a bike shop in Copenhagen. For me, the ideas of Organetics® are easily translated for use in any kind of business or organization. The only stipulation is that there is an openness to the way a business evolves (not holding on to the way you think it should be).
In my own business, I have learned to see the shop as a living entity that has its own “needs” and ways to evolve. Of course, I have a vision of how I would like it to be, but it’s not only up to me. It is essential for me to learn to sense how the organization moves in a certain direction “by itself.” I need to understand the organization and its evolution in a larger framework. With the help of Organetics®, I now have the tools to see this picture in a much clearer way.
I see my business as an energy process that contains several smaller energy processes (customers, employees, location, ambiance of the interior of the shop, etc.). Each one of these smaller processes impacts and interacts with the overall process. Thus, each person contributes to the shop’s evolution in total. Learning to be open and to deal with all these processes on different levels helps me to see difficulites and problems before they affect the company. In this way I can ameliorate the change process. Moreover, it is something to which I am integral. Finally, it also helps me to sense when a potential new business opportunity presents itself.
Using my knowledge of Organetics® in my own business has increased my understanding of why things happen. In this way, I am much less a “victim of circumstance” anymore. Everything that happens may be sensed long before, if I am willing to read the underlying energy processes (points of resonance and dissonance).
Another interesting fact is that the more I learn about myself – my own evolution and development – the clearer and easier it is to run my business. My own learning resonates with my business. Thus, there is a “self-resonance” in the shop. If I’m clear with myself, then the business will be clear in its issues.

Shinkido®: Benefits in Physical Treatment, Psychotherapy, and Childbirth by Dorte Christiansen
As a reflexologist, I have had many clients with symptoms of indigestion, rheumatism, migraine headaches, and other various types of pain. Following treatments, the general feedback from my clients was that their bodies went through some sort of “healing crisis.”
While furthering my education and training in this Life Energy Process form of massage, Shinkido®, I noticed a different response from my clients. They often reported the experience of a vibration in the body and/or came in contact with feelings and emotions which seemed connected to their physical condition. Clients reported having many physical/body reactions, but without the element of crisis that they had had previously. They sensed that the reactions they were having were more like an adaptation to a new order in the body.
After ten years of combining Shinkido® and reflexology, I have learned that healing does not always require an extended time to be effective – provided that the person is open to all the information present about their physical condition.
When I completed the Practitioner level of Shinkido®, my practice began to expand, focusing more on psychotherapeutic treatment or self-development. Many of my clients had very little contact with their bodies, and many had been in therapy before. With Shinkido®, the opportunity is present to turn a fixation on a problem into the experience of a solution.
For example, I had one client who had been working for many years in different forms of therapy. Her main issue concerned mother love/dominance, and it had as yet gone largely unresolved.
To paraphrase her sentiments: “My mother was a bitch: she took everything away from me. Her abuse is implicated in every contact I make. I will be depressed for the rest of my life.”
Through Shinkido®, this client was able to resolve this issue to a large degree. She is now able to make contact, feel natural pleasure, and can now come to terms with an existence in which her mother has minimial importance.
Shinkido® allows us to move through all types of sensations, feelings and emotions. These manifestations arise when the energy starts to move. They key is allowing the feelings to occur without getting lost in their expression. It is important to train at this point, because on the other side of this coin lies the potential emptiness, the nothingness, the pleasure of “non-neurosis” and wholeness.
The combination of Shinkido®, reflexology and acupressure is of great importance in my work with childbirth. I have assisted at more than 50 deliveries in various hospitals in Denmark, during which I have recorded the energy aspects of childbirth.
Labor may be compared to a long Shinkido® session, even if it takes 12 hours or more. Together, we follow the waves of change, to use the Life Energy Process term, from the sensation level of the first contraction to the time when the mother cedes to the birth of the child: it becomes too much for the “daily control system” to appreciate what is happening in the body.
This is the boundary point, and if she can give in here, she will give over to the primeval knowledge in the body. This knowledge guides her through labor, beyond ego limitations and into a place of “no concepts” where she has a surplus of potency and an excellent opportunity to meet her newborn child.
My heart “burns” for these aspects, and I feel that learning to give women in childbirth this kind of support is critically important for families in Western culture.

Since ancient times, man has regarded theatre as a potential avenue for the release of blocked emotions. It has also been noted as a means for man to express himself and grow beyond his existing range of potential.
Many of us have had traumatic experiences (especially during childhood) with which we have found it difficult to cope. Some examples of the emotions experienced are loneliness, rejection, emotional withdrawal, and sexual abuse. As a result, we have developed behaviours to protect us from further injury.
At the time, these reactions may have seemed useful and sensible.
However, today such behavior prove to be a considerable limitation to our self-expression and personal potential.
As a therapy oriented toward depth psychology, Teatro Energetico® uses the theatre of exploration to examine these problems and dramas. The purpose is to reveal the deeper energy disturbances that lie at the root of these behaviours.
On stage, we demonstrate what rotates within ourselves, repeatedly. Together, we explore facts, ideas, and fantasies to get in contact with these dramas in more conscious, clearer ways.
The professional support of the teatrist or therapist in addition to the audience (participants) facilitate the individual to “stay on the point” or “on the message,” that is, not drifting away from the “hot” issue.
As a creative laboratory, the stage provides the space to discover the healing process behind these dramas.
It also allows us to grow beyond “old” behaviours and to develop new perspectives that can be immediately explored.
Teatro Energetico® requires honesty and directness; this means we have to get involved and be prepared to show ourselves, as opposed to “playing a role.”
Teatro Energetico® helps us to reveal ourselves in front of a group. It brings more clarity into our personal dramas, and it opens the door for emotional expression, spontaneity, creativity, and ultimately, personal change.
