:: The Different Forms of Life Energy Process
In the 1970’s the American psychologist Stèphano Sabetti developed a physical psychotherapy which he termed Life Energy Therapy by combining elements of various Western and Eastern therapies and philosophies / life views.
Since that time he has extended these concepts to more kinds of therapeutic techniques, in order to support and aid the physical, mental and spiritual development of individuals and groups for their personal and professional benefit (Life Energy Process).
One cornerstone of Sabetti’s therapeutic and consulting work is his energy viewpoint. As the name of the general concept indicates, all of the therapies and consulting methods developed by Sabetti postulate the existence of life energy as basic: physically measurable energy vibrations exist in every living being. These may be harmonious, or take the form of disturbances, which for humans may manifest as physical or mental illness. Therefore, each difficulty is to be regarded as a disturbance of energy flow. This energy viewpoint results in clarity, simplification and the chance to reach beyond the intricate level of symptoms to the roots of any disorder.
Sabetti’s work is process-oriented, i.e. it doesn’t hold on to the problem as such but is oriented toward the natural phenomenon of continuous change as the basis of life (process being derived from the Latin word procedere: moving forward, progressing). Many energetic disturbances (problems, illnesses etc.) develop because necessary steps of change become blocked. The aim of the work is to explore individually who we really are once the blockages and disorders gradually vanish. Thus, in time it becomes possible to surpass the limitations experienced in the past and to recognize oneself more and more as part of a greater wholeness.
On the following pages you find more information about the different forms Sabetti develloped.
